Dale Dorlin (he/him/his) is a Consultant at ALJP Consulting. Dale comes to the ALJP Consulting having spent 15 years in the cultural service sector working with nonprofits across the country to build community and usher in new eras of organizational growth and change. He has previously worked on staff as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at San Antonio Symphony, Director of Public Relations at The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Director of Marketing Projects at Wayne State University, and Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Hope College. Dale has also worked on special projects with Ohio University, Wayne State University, Detroit Jazz Festival, Ann Arbor Summer Festival, Michigan Youth Arts Association, Miami International Film Festival, One Reel/Bumbershoot: Seattle's Music & Arts Festival, the Arab American National Museum (AANM) and Concert of Colors. He thrives in designing audience experiences and developing strategic communications. Upon graduating from NDTC’s inaugural Staff Academy in 2019, Dale went on to work in advance operations for Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s run for office in the 2020 Presidential Election Cycle. His passion lies in providing opportunities for historically oppressed and marginalized communities. He is an alumnus of the National Americorps program and believes effective leadership and conscious communication has the power to develop a society that is socially progressive, responsive to inequity and injustice, and culturally inclusive. Born and raised on the Eastside of Detroit, Dale holds an MFA in Management from Wayne State University and is an avid runner.
